We have decided to make our first App Toginfo freely available through the Apple App Store. I has all the basic functionality you need to get train times and updates you need for Danish trains. If you need more features consider buying Toginfo Pro which is on sale right now!
It seems like Bane Danmark’s mobile website mobil.bane.dk is down at the moment. This affects Toginfo and Toginfo Pro. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we can do nothing but wait.
We have just released our new App Toginfo Pro. It has some exciting new features compared to the standard version of Toginfo:
The most compelling new feature is clearly the live trains view. It updates every 3 seconds to show the actual location of trains. This is very useful at times where the s-train informations system is out of order. The App is available from iTunes App Store just now priced at DKR 36.
Remember that all Apps on the iTunes App Store is covered by the End User License Agreement found at http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/. It clearly says that neither the application provider nor third party content providers can be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by the application. It also states that the software and the information delivered through it is provided “as is” and “as available” meaning that there is no guarantee for the correctness or availability of the provided information. We provide this notice after talking to Bane Danmark who delivers the data for Toginfo. Generally the accuracy of the data provided by Bane Danmark is very good. The up time has so far also been very high although there have been some hours of downtime from Bane Danmark since Toginfo was released.
UPDATE: Bane Danmark now seems to have solved the problem.
Bane Danmark is currently not delivering data for Kystbanen. Bane Danmark’s time tables are also not working: Bane.dk:Kokkedal departures
This may be due to the fact that DSB First has taken over the service of Kystbanen from today Sunday. We have informed Bane Danmark of the issue and hope they will fix it soon.
