Remember that all Apps on the iTunes App Store is covered by the End User License Agreement found at http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/. It clearly says that neither the application provider nor third party content providers can be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by the application. It also states that the software and the information delivered through it is provided “as is” and “as available” meaning that there is no guarantee for the correctness or availability of the provided information. An extract from the EULA regarding warranty is shown here:

We provide this notice after talking to Bane Danmark who delivers the data for Toginfo. Generally the accuracy of the data provided by Bane Danmark is very good. The up time has so far also been very high although there have been some hours of downtime from Bane Danmark since Toginfo was released.

Toginfo App Store, Bane Danmark, EULA

Today the German version of Toginfo called ZugAbfahrt hit the iTunes App Store. It provides about the same features as Toginfo, but is in German and shows departures from the more than 5000 German train stations. It is on sale for 1,59 euros.

UPDATE: Bane Danmark now seems to have solved the problem.

Bane Danmark is currently not delivering data for Kystbanen. Bane Danmark’s time tables are also not working: Bane.dk:Kokkedal departures

This may be due to the fact that DSB First has taken over the service of Kystbanen from today Sunday. We have informed Bane Danmark of the issue and hope they will fix it soon.

Toginfo

Toginfo 1.1 has been released as a free upgrade to all Toginfo 1.0 customers. The new features are (in Danish):

- Køreplan som viser hvor og hvornår tog stopper (undtagen s-tog).
- Kan vise rute til den valgte station på kort.
- Ryst iPhone for at opdatere.
- UI forbedringer.
- Diverse fejlrettelser.

Toginfo is currently the best-selling Application in the Danish iTunes App Store.

Toginfo has generally been warm-welcomed by the users and has got some great reviews. Currently the average star rating of Toginfo is 4/5.

We are very happy about this and hope to get an update with new features pushed out to users soon.
